What a wonderful way to start the season

Two weeks ago we met on the beach and did a ceremony to call in our hearts desires. Chanting and meditating to ground ourselves we then wrote down what we wished to manifest or release for the next couple of months. We then picked out a stone and wrapped the message around the stone tying them with palm fronds and adding flowers for decoration. You can see our gifts to ourselves in the picture. We then walked into the ocean (ankles only - yes even Goddesses can be fussy about getting wet) chanting and offered our gifts to the Ocean Goddess (everyone invoked their favorite water Goddess).

Really moving and heart felt - we shall see what happens - remembering that it is all GOOD

Hands Across the Sand is a movement made of people of all walks of life and crosses political affiliations. This movement is not about politics; it is about protection of our coastal economies, oceans, marine wildlife, and fishing industry.

Let us share our knowledge, energies and passion for protecting all of the above from the devastating effects of oil drilling.

About Yoga For Modern Life
The Yoga for Modern Life workshop has been a much needed respite in my schedule. As the name suggests, Michelle has created a series of postures which are specifically designed to be counter poses to the stresses we place on our bodies on a daily basis. Activities of daily living, which do not at first brush appear stressful, such as working on the computer, driving, etc. actually can place tremendous strain on the body. After class with Michelle, I feel that ideal juxtaposition of energetic awakening and relaxed opening of my body. As a participant in many yoga and movement classes, I am truly grateful for this experience. Michelle provides a stimulating and unique environment due to her extensive knowledge of biomechanics coupled with her enthusiastic expression of yogic arts and belly dance. Today The Goddesses Convened at One Of Our Favorites, Origins, On Key Biscayne To Celebrate and Bid A Bon Voyage To Goddess Peggy, as she embarks on a six week journey to Tuscany and France! We were all so happy to share in her excitement, and to be in each other's company. We were reflecting on how grateful we are for living in such a beautiful part of the world, for having friends that are so open, honest, authentic, and a positive support for one aother. We have all benefitted so much from this Goddess Group, our gatherings, each other's friendships, opening up to our own Greatness, and sharing that with the world! This past Wednesday, September 2, Goddesses Gathered at One Wellness Boutique in Coconut Grove , a state of the art Wellness Boutique that offers Pilates, Facials, and Massages for your body, mind, and soul. Karen Gonzalez played harmonium and led us in sacred Mantra Grooves. We began the evening warming up our chakras to Nurturing Moves led by yours truly. This is the first time we gathered in a while... I realized how much I missed my "girls" and how blessed I am to have all these amazing women in my life. Goddess Healing and Nurturing...

This weeks goddess gathering was held overlooking our beautiful Key Biscayne ocean. We sat outside and ate our goddess delights, thank you to all who brought a tasty treat. The ocean waves were playing a beautiful rhythmical symphony, many of us were sparkling with beautiful earrings from Ajna Designs... Jenny, S., Julie and I welcomed Jodi, wise diva, and Tatiana Da Silva, Brazilian Goddess, fashion designer, and amazing mother of two www.tatianadasilva.com . We sat and created intentions in preparation for our "mind mapping." As we shared going around in a circle, I realized how important it is for women to feel safe and heard. We "witnessed" each other sharing and listened not only with our ears but with our non-judgemental hearts. This is so healing. Then we moved the circle indoors, brought out our magazines and voila... the vision boards were born. Next week: Bring your vision boards so we may share them with the group and also be prepared for a fun game of "GO GODDESS, don't be surprised if there is a little Belly Dance along the way :)". This weeks Goddess Gathering brought new people and even a special shivelrous male Eduard, thank you for your openness and courage! We danced as the new moon was rising, connecting to our power center and creative energy, while also being present in the moment with our shadowside. We had a ceremonial burning to end and united as one hand in hand creating a circle of peaceful acceptance.

KB Goddesses Jenny, Athina, and Michelle gathered to honor and support the MIAMI SYMPHONY's JEANS AND JEWELS Gala. Master Composer and Conductor EDUARDO MARTURET led an amazing one hour show waterside which ended with suprise Mariachi and Fashion Show. I highly recommend everyone to attend an unforgettable concert. www.miamisymphony.org has all their info. Master Eduardo Marturet and his orchestra are electrifying, he is truly an amazing artist and so beautiful to watch him in action and listen to their beautiful sounds. I got to meet some Mexican Goddesses also!

Hello everyone, Join in with me for my inaugural evening house concert! The idea is to create community by providing a way to support artists in a home environment. In today's economy it has become increasingly difficult for small clubs to support independent musicians. I will be providing my home several times throughout the year for wonderful concerts - some local and others traveling through south Florida. We are so blessed to have these two amazing artists from California playing in my home - now called The Outpost. Check out their music and I think you will definitely want to make your way here that evening. All money goes to the musicians - I just provide the space. It was so great to see all of you today. Finally we were all together again. Unfortunately we are loosing our Greek Goddess for awhile - have a great, fun filled trip Miss Sophia. And our Canadian Goddess is having an adventure of her own - bring back great pictures Miss Peggy!!!
And welcoming Noellia - and Thomas (please forgive the gringa if I spelled your name wrong).
So to continue our fun times we are meeting next Friday at the ocean park at 6:00pm to play with the book True Balance. Should be loads of fun and we may even learn something along the way. I say we should open it up to other Goddesses and invite people we think would enjoy the journey. Thoughts?? Also, if they are new we could make them bring home cooked food and chocolate. (Kind of an initiation) Thoughts??
